Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. Who we are and acceptance of these terms
ExpertPub ("ExpertPub", "the platform", "we", "us") is operated by Dharmic Intelligence LLC, PO Box 296, Kings Mills, OH 45034, United States. These terms are a contract between you and Dharmic Intelligence LLC. By creating an account, uploading material, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms and our Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this contract. If you use the platform for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure, for the accuracy of your account information, and for activity under your account. Do not share access or use another person's account.
3. What the platform provides
ExpertPub lets people ("Expert Authors") build and publish AI experts from their own knowledge and documents, and lets visitors ask those experts questions. The platform provides the technology. Authors, not ExpertPub, choose and are responsible for their expert content. We may change, improve, limit, or discontinue features, but we will not take away a paid plan solely to avoid providing the period already paid for.
4. Author content and the license needed to operate the service
Expert Authors keep ownership of documents, knowledge, prompts, names, and other material they upload or submit ("Author Content"). When you upload or submit Author Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, format, process, transmit, and display it only as reasonably needed to build, test, secure, publish, and operate your expert and provide the services you request. This includes sending Author Content to our AI and hosting providers. The license begins when content is uploaded or submitted, not only when an expert is published.
The license ends when the content is deleted from the service, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, safety or legal records, and content already included in an answer or other record that we are required or reasonably need to retain. You are responsible for having all rights and permissions needed for everything you upload and for its accuracy and legality.
5. AI-generated material and platform ownership
As between an Expert Author and us, we do not claim ownership of the Author's source material. To the extent permitted by law, we also assign to the Author any rights we may have in AI-generated knowledge and prompts created specifically for that Author's expert. AI output may not be unique, may resemble output provided to others, and may not qualify for intellectual-property protection. Users may use answers they receive for lawful purposes, but this does not transfer ownership of an Author's underlying documents or knowledge.
ExpertPub and its licensors retain all rights in the platform software, design, branding, documentation, and technology. If you voluntarily give us feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, but we will not treat your uploaded documents as feedback.
6. Material that must not be uploaded
Do not upload confidential, sensitive, regulated, or private material, including other people's personal data. This includes patient or medical records, client files, financial or identity records, authentication credentials, and anything you are under a duty of confidence or a professional or legal obligation to protect.
An expert's knowledge is sent to an AI provider when the expert is built and when questions are answered, and published knowledge may be repeated in an answer to a visitor. The platform is not designed or offered for regulated data. We do not provide HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, and the platform is not suitable for protected health information. You are responsible for consequences caused by material you should not have uploaded.
7. AI-generated answers
Artificial intelligence can produce incomplete, outdated, misleading, or incorrect answers, even when source material is accurate. Answers are information, not professional advice. They are not medical, legal, financial, tax, mental-health, or other regulated advice, and using an expert does not create a professional, fiduciary, or confidential relationship with ExpertPub or an Expert Author. Do not rely on an answer for an emergency or an important decision without review by an appropriately qualified person.
8. Free and Pro plans
Current plan prices, allowances, and features are shown on the Plans page. Free is available without a payment card and remains usable within its stated limits. Usage and safety limits may prevent or delay requests after an allowance is reached.
Pro is a monthly subscription that automatically renews each month until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize ExpertPub and Stripe to charge the displayed subscription price and applicable taxes to your selected payment method at each renewal. You can cancel through the Stripe-hosted billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and Pro remains active until the end of the paid period.
Except where law requires otherwise, subscription charges are non-refundable, including for a partially used billing period. We may suspend or downgrade a plan after a failed payment or when a subscription ends. We may change future prices or plan features; a price change will not alter a period already paid for and will be communicated as required by law before it applies.
9. Members-only experts and author-collected payments
Expert Authors may use their own external payment link and manually approve members by email. Those payments are made directly to the Author through the Author's chosen provider. ExpertPub is not the seller, merchant of record, or party to that transaction, does not receive the membership payment, and does not automatically add or remove access when an external subscription starts or ends.
The Author is responsible for their offer, customer terms, privacy disclosures, pricing, taxes, refunds, cancellations, access changes, and customer support. A link to an external service is not an endorsement or guarantee by ExpertPub.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform unlawfully or in violation of our Content Policy. Do not break, probe, overload, evade limits, interfere with, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform; scrape or extract other Authors' content; distribute malware or spam; or use the service to violate another person's rights.
11. Copyright complaints
Our copyright notice, counter-notice, and repeat-infringer procedures appear in the Content Policy. We may remove or disable access to material when we receive a valid complaint or otherwise reasonably believe it infringes rights.
12. Moderation, suspension, and account closure
We may delist or remove experts, limit functionality, suspend accounts, or refuse service when these terms or the Content Policy are violated, when required by law, or when we reasonably believe the platform, another person, or our providers are at risk. Authors may unpublish their experts and may ask us to close an account by contacting support.
Account closure or termination may make experts and Author Content unavailable. We may retain limited records as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms—continue after termination.
13. Additional services
Done-for-you setup, consulting, or other separately purchased services may be governed by a written scope, quote, or order accepted by both sides. That document controls for the specific additional service if it conflicts with these terms; these terms continue to govern use of the platform.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform, experts, and answers are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or results. We do not guarantee that an expert will attract users, generate revenue, satisfy a professional standard, or operate without interruption or loss. Third-party services, including AI, hosting, identity, payment, and external author services, are outside our full control.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dharmic Intelligence LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data; decisions made in reliance on AI-generated answers; Author or third-party conduct; or loss of or unauthorized access to uploaded material.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the platform or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to ExpertPub during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US $100. These exclusions and limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity for your content and conduct
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dharmic Intelligence LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your Author Content, your external membership offer, your unlawful use of the platform, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own unlawful conduct.
We will give reasonably prompt notice of a covered claim and reasonable cooperation. You may control its defense with qualified counsel, but may not settle a claim in a way that admits wrongdoing by us, imposes a non-monetary obligation on us, or fails to release us without our written consent.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting the revised version and changing the "last updated" date. Changes apply prospectively. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the platform and cancel any renewal before it occurs.
18. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except where applicable law gives you another right, disputes must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Warren County, Ohio, or the federal courts with jurisdiction over Warren County, and each party consents to those courts' jurisdiction.
19. General terms
These terms, the Content Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable written order form constitute the agreement between you and us about the service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the platform. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
